Hillary Clinton’s History And Voting Record
When you start thinking about who is qualified to be elected to a public office, you want to make sure they are the best person for the position. They should be reasonably attuned to your own preferences when it comes to major issues affect the country. But how can really be sure that a candidate is really thinking the way you are? One way that you can really evaluate any candidate is by taking a look at their voting record. The official records are kept daily and you can look up exactly what your potential candidate is doing.
For example, if you are leaning toward Hillary Clinton you can see the history of how she voted on many different issues. To date, Hillary Clinton has voted on topics as wide ranging as abortion, civil rights, the budget/economy, corporations, crime, drugs, education, energy/oil, environment, families/children, foreign policy, free trade, government reform, gun control, health care, homeland security, employment, principles/values, social security, technology, war/peace and welfare/poverty. Today with CNN and other media groups, there is absolutely nothing that can not be documented, and once documented they go into the history books and Hillary Clinton's actions are no different. It really does not matter if she is ever elected to the highest office in the country or if she remains the Senator from New York. Whatever she does, it will be documented and become history. But how does live knowing that their actions, words or statements are being documented and recorded for posterity? It is a difficult way to live, but you need to remember that people in the public arena want to be there. Hillary Clinton and all politicians make a conscious choice to run for political office knowing that there will a lot of negatives and one of these is having everything watched and recorded. Hillary Clinton's role in the history books is still be written. She is actively working to gain another political position in the hopes that she can do some good for the nation. If she is passed by, this will not be the end of her story-she will still be a prominent figure in the country and will have many opportunities to do well. How will history treat Hillary Clinton? Time will tell because she still has a long way to go. Her life and her story will continue for a few more decades. And we can only imagine what she will accomplish and how it will be recorded in the history books. We can hope that history will treat her and everyone else well, but that is just a dream. History is just that-the truth behind what happened and when it happened. It is no longer a fairy tale, but the documentation of events. |
